Online Therapy

We experienced in meeting you online and we can walk you through the process. You can get the support and care you deserve through online therapy. With the rapid pace of life sometimes it is challenging to find time to do self-care and travel to a therapist’s office. Online therapy offers accessibility, convenience, and privacy. Online therapy can help with all of the same issues and goals as in-person therapy. 

Our clients find that meeting virtually with us is fulfilling and successful. Online therapy may not be different than doing in home therapy- We’ve seen and heard it all (pets? kids? no problem!) in the background, so find a little slice of private space, whether it’s your home office or a room and make time for you. 

 

At Vida Bilingual Counseling we use fully HIPAA-compliant, confidential technology so that you can meet at your convenience without worrying about your privacy – that way, you can focus on doing critical personal work with your therapist.

 

Working with a therapist online may be better than in-person therapy for people who:

  • Have a busy schedule and want to save driving time

  • Are home-bound or have health issues

  • Live in rural or remote communities

  • Travel frequently for work

  • Need to be home with children

  • Feel more comfortable meeting on video (e.g., social anxiety)

Some people choose to do a combination of in-person and online therapy, and sometimes sessions are best done remotely (if you have a cold or another illness, it’s best to stay home, right?).  And sometimes, life takes us to another city or another state – but that doesn’t mean you should have to say goodbye to your therapist.
